However your dog may feel more relaxed if he brings some items from home, with those lovely familiar smells. That scraggy blanket or a favourite toy would be ideal.

You may prefer to bring a stock of your dog's regular food.

Finally, of course there is the paperwork. You will need to bring:

* an up to date vaccination certificate (incuding kennel cough)

* your vet's contact details

* an emergecy contact number (in the unlikely event that we need to contact you during your dog's stay with us)

* some cash or your cheque book ... as unfortunately we do have to charge! For one dog our rate is £10 per day; for two or more dogs it is £8.50 per dog per day.
