How to find us

Location
Grid Reference SX 6135 9530
Lat 50.74075 N, Long 3.96613 W

GPS Warning
Most GPS devices and on-line mapping sites position our post code about 200-300 metres along the road from where we really are. (Don't say we didn't tell you!) With your back towards Okhampton, look up the hill a bit and you will see a garden centre and then a big white house just beyond. That's us!

By Road From the East
Leave the A30 at the first junction signposted Okehampton. At the end of the slip road turn right following the signs to Okehampton. After crossing the A30, we are the first house on the right.

By Road From the West
Leave the A30 at the second junction signposted Okehampton. At the end of the slip road turn right and immediately pass Country Lanes garden centre. We are next door to the garden centre - on the left.

Cycle Route From The South
If you are following the C2C cycle route northwards, then there is an easier route than cycling down the hill to the centre of Okehampton, and then all the way up the hill to Northlake again. The directions are as follows: From Okehampton Train Station (SX 592 944). Turn right out of station car park, and turn right IMMEDIATELY onto bridlepath. Follow bridle path for just over 1km to Fatherford Viaduct (SX 603 947). Cross wooden bridge (or ford if you dare), through a gateway into a small car park. Follow minor road up hill, running parallel to railway to the B3260 (SX 604 954). Turn right onto the B3260, and travel approximately 1km to Northlake (SX 613 953). Northlake is indicated by red circle/cross on the map below.

Cycle Route From The North
After passing through Abbeyford Woods, the T junction at the bottom of the hill has a C2C signpost to the right. This will take you to Okehampton centre. Turn left on the B3216 towards Exeter. Northlake is at the top of the hill, on the left, after about 1.5 miles.

An alternative is to turn LEFT at the bottom of the hill after Abbeyford woods, towards Brightley. After one mile turn right (brown cycleway sign). After 0.8 miles, turn left and after a short distance go straight across the crossroads. After a short distance, turn right at the T junction. After 0.5 miles, you will reach Gypsy Corner, where you turn right. When you reach the B3216 turn left, and Northlake will be a further quarter of a mile on the left hand side.
